Let's face it: every job has its challenges. No matter how much you love doing what you do, there are days when nothing seems to go right and you question your career choices. I love working as an information architect, even if it's one of the many skills I bring to the table. The passion for me comes from helping my team create something that users will want to engage. As with any job, some days are better than others!

gomiki design, rebranded
More often these days, I am tasked to oversee the experience design of apps and websites. As my responsibilities focus more on interface design, prototyping, user testing, etc., the label – Information Architect – doesn't apply. In truth, I've been designing user experiences since I started working professionally as a user experience designer, specifically as a freelancer. I've designed websites, interfaces for apps, systems, and interaction models. The user's experience has, and will continue to be the fulcrum of my work. This is why I've rebranded gomiki design. The new look and feel is a proper reflection of my day-to-day reality. –Miki
